The race is a 10k Road chip timed certified hilly run on a 1 lap course from the Wilton Arms Restaurant. It is open to any ability of runner with a generous cut off time Approximately 2 hour (you must be 16 years and over to enter). You will receive a bespoke medal as you cross the finish line & Free digital photo downloads are available. The race is an official UKA meeting and will go on your power of 10 and the distance has been certified correct.

Shine in Media will be filming on the day and the film will be put on the site after the event.

The Race will Start/Finish on the Car Park.
The Route will be fully signposted and marshalled, it is not on traffic free roads so please take note of marshal and signposted instructions. The route will be accurately measured with a UKA Permit. The course is a 1 lap hilly loop around Smithills & Barrow Bridge Village. There is a feed station at 5k offering water/energy drinks & gels. Please keep to the left hand side of the road unless instructed otherwise.

Toilets & Changing
Portable Toilets and changing facilities will be on the car park (Race HQ)
Free parking is available on the Wilton Arms car park until it is full (arrive early as spaces are limited.
Mobile Catering Vehicles will be at Race HQ serving food & drinks throughout the event.
Lou Lou's will be selling there finest selection of Cakes after the race at Race HQ.
Please Collect your Race number and Chip on the day at Race HQ between 7am and 8:45am.
You must have your Race Number visible during the race at all times.
Hillrunner run Shop will be available at Race HQ for supplies and Merchandise.
Stansfield Sports Injury Clinic will be on hand to offer post race massage and advice.
